Requirements:
- Self-motivated and proactive – eager to learn, take initiative, and work effectively in a team environment
- Strong research and analytical skills – able to conduct independent research to support campaigns and initiatives
- Excellent communication and writing abilities – strong interpersonal skills to engage donors, stakeholders, and the community
- Tech-savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office – skilled in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel for reports, presentations, and data management
- Organised, detail-oriented, and resourceful – capable of multitasking and managing multiple projects efficiently
- Creative with an eye for design – experience in artwork creation or an interest in design is a plus
- Currently pursuing a Degree/Diploma in Marketing, Communications, or related fields from a recognised University or Polytechnic.
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends and evenings for events and outreach activities (time off in-lieu will be granted)
- Available for a minimum internship period of 4–6 months.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in fundraising, donor engagement, and public outreach efforts to expand community impact
- Support the planning and execution of community events, social media campaigns, and corporate engagement initiatives
- Create and manage email communications (eDMs) using MailChimp, including content writing and simple layout design
- Handle administrative tasks related to fundraising and outreach—connecting with donors, partners, volunteers, and government agencies to further the organisation’s mission.
- Assist in developing marketing materials—a plus if you have a flair for design and experience in creating or adapting artwork.
