Help Us Become Guide Dog Heroes
Guide dogs are four-legged heroes living among us. They change the lives of people with vision impairment (VI) by helping them to regain their freedom and live the life they choose confidently.
From 1 March to 31 May 2023, help us raise the next generation of guide dog heroes by making a kind donation. Let’s celebrate the important role guide dogs play in supporting people with VI, providing hope, independence, and enhancing their overall quality of life.
Your support will make a life-changing transformation for our clients who hope to live the independent life they desire. All donations to GDS during our campaign period till 31 May 2023 are matched dollar-for-dollar by Tote Board. This means when you donate $100, GDS will receive $200 in total and your contribution will double in its impact. Only donations made via our online campaigns, physical cheques and cash donations will be eligible for the donation matching. If you would like to find out more and donate, click the button below.
100% of your donation goes towards a range of services that support the education, advocacy, and on-the-ground action that empower people with low vision or blindness.
We rely on donations from individuals like you to continue this important work. This includes work that inspires and empowers people with vision loss. In addition, your support will go towards helping us provide services that enhance the quality of life for people with vision loss in Singapore through a range of rehabilitation programmes.
These priorities encompass beyond providing guide dogs to include teaching people with vision loss the skills needed to live independently, and working with community stakeholders to build a supportive society for the vision-impaired society.
