Help Us Become Guide Dog Heroes
From 1 March to 31 May 2023, help us raise the next generation of guide dog heroes. Let's celebrate the important role guide dogs play in supporting people with VI, providing hope, independence, and enhancing their overall quality of life.
Season of Giving 2022
It is starting to look like the most wonderful time of the year - a time for gathering with loved ones and spending quality time together. We are immensely thankful for the supporters and donors who journeyed with us throughout the year. As the holiday season begins and a new year beckons, let us not forget the importance of giving back.
Give the Gift of Independence 2022
What does “Independence” mean in the life of a person with vision impairment (VI)? When living with VI, everyday life can feel unfamiliar even in a familiar environment. The new normality after the pandemic has posed unique challenges and forced many changes on our friends with vision loss, making it challenging for them to adapt and live independently.
International Guide Dog Day 2022
Celebrate International Guide Dog Day (IGDD) with us!
This year, in conjunction with IGDD, Guide Dogs Singapore Ltd (GDS) is organising a Virtual Flag Day 2022 fundraiser from now till 31 May 2022! Join us to pledge your support for our guide dog heroes and the team of dedicated professionals behind every successful pair of handler and guide dog.
Training the Next Generation of Guide Dogs 2022
Last year, we welcomed three new dogs-in-training - Eve, Jade and Laurie! On behalf of our clients who will be paired with the three dogs, we thank you for enabling them to have greater independence and mobility.
There are currently six clients on our list waiting to be paired with guide dogs. Your support will bring us closer to our goal of raising $150,000 and help more GDS clients live the independent life they desire.
Season of Giving (SOG) 2021
Join us to celebrate Season of Giving 2021, from December to January, as we recognise the determination and perseverance our friends with VI have shown to regain their mobility.
It is also a great time for us to give back and be thoughtful to the needs of those with visual impairment in our midst this festive season. Find out more and donate today!
