Our annual Flag Day is happening on 5 April, Saturday, and we need your help to make a difference. Whether you have a few hours to spare or the entire day, your time will go a long way in supporting the visually impaired community in Singapore.
- Perfect for Groups: Gather friends, family, or colleagues to volunteer together.
- Flexible Commitment: Volunteer at your convenience, with no minimum time required.
- Earn Recognition: Volunteers who dedicate at least 4 hours and collect a minimum of $40 will receive a volunteering certificate.
All funds raised will directly support GDS programmes, including the provision of guide dogs, life-changing rehabilitative training, and assistive technology services.
Flag Day Details
Date: Saturday, 5 April 2025
Time: Our earliest slot starts at 10 am. There is no time limit for the volunteering. We welcome your participation whether you are available for a few hours or the whole day.
Venue: Island-wide. You can indicate your preferred reporting locations. (Jurong East MRT, Serangoon MRT, Somerset MRT, Tampines MRT)
Registration closes on 16 March, Sunday, 11.59pm.
Terms and Conditions:
- You must be at least 16 years old in 2025 to volunteer.
- You will be responsible for your own transportation and lunch.
- For those who require a letter to certify volunteering hours, a min. of 4 hours must be clocked and $40 and above must be collected.
A confirmation email with details will be sent to you within 3-4 working days upon registration. A reminder email will also be sent a few days before the event.
