Join Us As A Volunteer

How Your Company Can Get Involved

  • Invite us for an educational outreach talk.

  • Help us increase the visibility of our mission by including us in your newsletter to your stakeholders.

  • Allocate a booth at your events or mall atrium to GDS for fundraising and awareness activities.

  • If you own a F&B or retail outlet:

    1. Demonstrate your inclusive policy and support for guide dogs by displaying a guide dog-friendly decal at your premises.
    2. Consign a donation box and display it at your outlet.

  • Conduct your own fundraising events in support of GDS. If it is a public event, some regulations may apply. Contact us to discuss.

  • Encourage your employees to give back and double their contributions through matching their donations.

  • Showcase your support as an inclusive company. Contact us to explore employment opportunities for people with vision impairment and to discuss making information and physical premises accessible.

  • If you are selling products or services, pledge a percentage of sales proceeds to GDS.

  • Explore customised CSR initiatives. Contact us to discuss further.

We are thankful to have the support of Boehringer Ingelheim, a global pharmaceutical company who has pledged their support to Guide Dogs Singapore (GDS).

With lesser avenues of fundraising due to COVID-19, their generous donation has enabled us to continue our work amidst the challenging pandemic climate and allowed us to fund our programmes and provide more guide dogs to support the community.

The Animal Clinic (TAC) is proud to be the veterinary partner for Guide Dogs Singapore (GDS).

For every GDS working guide dog, TAC provides a comprehensive health screening every 6 months that includes a physical examination, wellness blood tests, and supplies each dog with monthly preventives against heartworms, ticks, fleas, and intestinal worms.

Our job is to ensure that every dog stays healthy and fit to safely guide their handlers.

Established in 1979, TAC is spearheaded by a team of 15 veterinarians who aim to provide veterinary service, advice, and support to those in need. Their senior veterinarians have a combined experience of more than 75 years of clinical practice, and all of the veterinary team keeps up-to-date with the latest advances in veterinary medicine and surgery, ensuring top-quality healthcare and attention for all.
