We are pleased to share that Guide Dogs Singapore Ltd is the 100ᵗʰ accredited member of the International Guide Dog Federation (IGDF), and proudly the 17ᵗʰ organisation in Asia to join a global community of guide dog organisations dedicated to the highest standards of training and service delivery.
To qualify for full membership, an organisation must meet strict criteria which includes:
- Successfully training and matching a minimum number of guide dogs and clients locally
- Consistently maintaining high standards in guide dog training, client care, dog welfare and matching process
- Upholding governance and professional development
GDS has been working with IGDF for over 10 years in the maintenance of our high standards and are proud to be recognised for our ongoing commitment to international best practices.
