Join Us to Embark on a Journey of Possibilities

In conjunction with celebrating White Cane Day*, join us at our community event at Parkway Parade on Sunday, 8 October 2023. This special occasion will be a celebration of the achievements of our friends with vision impairment (VI), highlighting their resilience and the impact they bring to those around them.

*White Cane Day falls on 15 October every year.

Event Time: 10.00am to 8.00pm
Venue: Basement 1 Atrium @ Parkway Parade, 80 Marine Parade Rd, Singapore 449269

Event highlights include a free eye check, a blindfold obstacle course, a chance to meet our guide dogs, experiential activities, free gift packs, a children's play area and many more! Don't miss the following programme. 11am is the opening ceremony. From 11am to 6pm is the free eye check. At 12pm and 4pm, there will be a quiz and trivia quest.

Other exciting event highlights include an obstacle course, a chance to meet our guide dogs, experiential activities, gift packs and much more. It’s fun for the whole family and open to all ages.

An eye checkup is conducted using the Tonometer.

While it is true that some vision loss cannot be prevented, it is equally important to know that many eye diseases can be effectively managed through a healthy lifestyle and early detection. As part of our commitment to promoting eye health, we are collaborating with Singapore Polytechnic to offer free eye checks at the event from 11.00am to 6.00pm.
