After completing their intensive training, it is finally time for guide dogs Hesta and Vogue to graduate.
Since our inception, we has successfully paired 11 teams. Currently, there are six active guide dog teams under GDS. With the forthcoming graduation of two additional teams in May, this number will rise to eight. This marks a significant milestone on our journey to becoming a member of the International Guide Dog Federation, reinforcing our commitment to upholding the highest standards in guide dog training and ensuring that the blind and vision impaired community in Singapore receives the best possible support.
Join us on 18 May, Saturday, as we celebrate with an afternoon of fun, learning and solidarity for the blind and vision impaired community.

If you cannot join us for the event but still want to help raise the next generation of guide dogs to support the visually impaired community, consider making a donation—it’s a great way to commemorate this significant occasion.
All donations to GDS during our campaign period till 31 May 2024 are matched dollar-for-dollar by Tote Board. This means when you donate S$100, GDS will receive S$200 in total, and your contribution will double in its impact. All direct donations to GDS of minimum S$20 are eligible for a 250% tax exemption. This means that a S$1,000 donation would result in a S$2,500 deduction on your tax assessment.
